Circadia was founded by the world-renowned and globally recognized Dr. Pugliese. Before launching Circadia in 2001, he spent 30 years developing and manufacturing products for major brands in the beauty industry.

In the 1970s, he joined the Society of Cosmetic Chemistry to learn more about and treat troublesome conditions such as eczema, sun damage, and psoriasis.

In the 70s and 80s, Dr. Pugliese was the go-to guy when it came to innovative ingredients and products. He conducted the first studies on copper peptides, topical vitamin E, and Beta Glucan, among other things.

In 2001, he founded the skincare brand Circadia, together with his daughter and son. Today, Dr. Pugliese's grandson – Michael Pugliese – is the CEO of the company.

Circadia is a professional skincare brand whose philosophy is based on the natural circadian rhythms of the skin and body. Chronobiology, the biology of time, is based on the principles of protecting the skin from damage during the day and stimulating repair during sleep and is at the core of our concept. Circadia has been a pioneer in bringing the concept of Circadian Rhythms to the health and beauty industry.
